The screen is 128x64 pixels, which is width x height.
What I am looking for is a scroll looking thing, that has a black border all around it. The top and bottom of the screen would be where the scroll would be "rolled".. or, maybe an ancient parchment of sorts.. with the uneven borders? Just looking for something to display text on for a small time project, and it needs to take up the entire screen!! |

I think I understand what you are talking about. I'll see what I can do.
I'm thinking of like a scroll slightly smaller than the screen, with the rest of the screen filled with black. EDIT: Is there any like specific time by which you would need this by? This post has been edited by Bronco on Mar 7 2008, 03:35 AM |

Hmm...Well I can't make any promisses, but I'll whip something up ASAP. You might want to see if other people will do it too.

Well, that is what I have so far, and sort of what I am looking for... Can anyone do better? |

Here's another idea...
Start from the middle of the screen and "roll" it out until it takes the entire screen. |

I would do that, if I was able. The 86 basic is far slower, and does not have the commands that the 83+ has to make that so much easier. At this point, just looking for something other than a bland background to display the help text for.. this project.

Honestly I like the bg you posted tifreak. Yeah, I'm sure it could be a bit more fancy, but you did say it's just for displaying help text?

Well, I can use it, and I have it set up to be displayed with a couple other menu type things. When I get enough things done I might start posting some screenshots.
